Guildford Kickboxing Club is a friendly club of both Male & Female Students. Suited to those wishing to keep fit, learn a realistic self-defence and also ideal for those interested in competing in the ring.
Beginners are more than welcome and are integrated into the class at their own pace. You are welcome to come along and watch the class, but the best thing is to put the gloves on and give it a try.
Under the strict guidance of Denni, this is a firm but fun Club, with a lot of social events for those up for training hard but playing harder...

The Freestyle Kickboxing club at the Lords Roberts centre on Bisley camp has been running for almost two years. Chief instructor Darren Coleman started training in 1984 due to being a victim of bullying and has become very successful at competition level winning numerous titles at home and with thanks to his Sponsor VT Shipbuilding also abroad including WUMA European championship in 2006 and a world championship 2nd place also in 2006. At almost 6ft 8 Darren has come along way from being victimised from bullies, as well as teaching self defence he also runs anti bullying workshops in schools throughout the UK where he talks to children about the effects of bullying and how best to avoid it. Darren welcomes total beginners from 7 years and above to join the self defence club in Woking, you don’t need to be fit or experienced, the class runs in a very friendly and casual manner and you won’t be forced to compete or take part in sparring unless you wish to do so. This is a perfect opportunity to come along and have fun, get fit and meet new friends of all ages and backgrounds. Join a small, Friendly Club practising Traditional Aikido.

Aikido is a graceful, defensive martial art, known as "The Way of Peace." Our teacher, Chris Elliott, has studied many martial arts over the last twenty years, including Judo, Karate and Kung-Fu, but insists that Aikido is not only a great way to train the body, but also an effective, defensive martial art that can be practised without aggression.

Beginners are always welcome.

Our club is a friendly Non Sports Martial Arts / Self-defence club for over 16's . We emphasise Karate-Jutsu as our style. We offer training and practice for all levels of experience. Each person is taught at a level relative to their needs and experience. We offer a practical and realistic deterrents to violent confrontations. Having over 36 years experience we don't have a bias on style, we can offer everybody something to take away. We have a hands on approach to everything we practice, no special equipment or protection is required.
We train Thursdays between 7 - 9 pm, £25 per month, no membership required. 1st 2 lessons free.
